It began at the Superbowl as the Washington Redskins squeaked by the Buffalo Bills 37 to 34. The Womenswear Designer of the Year was Marc Jacobs. And George Vizmeg — with a dream, a truck and some gardening tools — started a landscaping business.
Today, Vizmeg Landscape is one of the leading landscape firms in Northeast Ohio with over 60 team members. Its expertise ranges from landscape architectural design to snow removal; from design/build to multi-faceted full-service landscape maintenance.
With “knowledge-and-experience” so important at Vizmeg, landscaping team members earn national recognition as “Certified Landscape Technician” and state recognition as “Ohio Certified Nursery Technician”. They become proficient in other areas via programs at the Ohio Landscape Association — and Vizmeg maintains ongoing in-house education programs. The knowledge of Vizmeg’s team members, combined with experience, is responsible for Vizmeg’s brisk and consistent growth.
